रांची : ओरमांझी थाना क्षेत्र स्थित आर्यन होटल में चाय पी रहे भाजपा नेता जीतराम मुंडा की 22 सितंबर को गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी। इस हत्याकांड का मुख्य आरोपी मनोज मुंडा है। दस दिन बीत जाने के बाद भी पुलिस जीतराम मुंडा के हत्यारे को गिरफ्तार नहीं कर सकी है।
ओरमांझी थाने की पुलिस ने बताया कि मनोज मुंडा की गिरफ्तारी के लिए लगातार छापेमारी की जा रही है लेकिन मनोज मुंडा का अब तक कोई सुराग नहीं मिल पाया है। पुलिस ने आशंका जताई कि मनोज मुंडा दूसरे राज्य में छिपकर रह रहा होगा। मुख्य आरोपी मनोज मुंडा अपना मोबाइल बंद कर दिया है जिससे पुलिस मनोज मुंडा का लोकेशन नहीं ढूंढ पा रही है।
हालांकि इस मामले में पुलिस ने दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दी है। दोनों आरोपियों ने इस हत्याकांड में अपनी संलिप्तता को स्वीकार की थी। जेल भेजे गये आरोपी ने पुलिस को बताया था कि मनोज मुंडा के इशारे पर ही भाजपा नेता जीतराम मुंडा की हत्या की गई थी।
आपको बता दें कि 22 सितंबर की शाम जीतराम मुंडा एक कार्यक्रम से लौट कर आर्यन होटल में बैठकर चाय पी रहे थे। उसी समय अपराधियों ने ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग शुरू कर दिया था। आनन-फानन में जीतराम मुंडा को नजदीकी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने जीतराम मुंडा को मृत घोषित कर दिया था।
